Welcome to Nursery
Our super, homely, beautiful Nursery opens at 07:30 and finishes at 18:00.
Our fabulous nursery teachers are Mrs Walker and Mrs Hashim. Our super-amazing nursery assistants are Miss Jacques and Miss Murray. We want our nursery to be li
ke a ‘home from home’. We want your children to absolutely LOVE being here with us!
Our nursery Patron Saint is Saint John Paul II and we celebrate his feast day on the 22nd October.
The nursery environment has been very carefully designed to maximise children’s creativity and help promote excellent speech and language development. Both our Nursery and Reception classes work closely together as we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
We regularly use our large wildlife area at the top of our field for our forest school. Most afternoons you will find us outside in the forest!
If we ever want to join together with the reception children in their lovely classroom next door, we go through the MAGIC DOOR designed by Mrs Statham.
Mrs Statham wanted a way for the nursery and reception children to share both settings and she took inspiration from her favourite childhood author ~ Enid Blyton. We now have our very own Faraway Tree.
We offer 30 free hours per week for eligible families, and are open for 52.5 hours per week should you need us.
We offer very flexible options to work around your and your child’s needs. Your child can stay from 9 o’clock until 3 or take advantage of our ‘wrap around’ provision opening from 07:30 until 18:00. Perhaps you only need mornings? Do you only need one day a week? We are happy to work around you!
Come and see us to enrol your little one in our very special and magical nursery.
See you soon!
