Exciting News About School Lunches!
From September 2025, you are able to order your child’s school lunch using our brand-new app! This means children won’t need to choose their lunch each morning in class, giving you much more flexibility and control over what they eat.
If you pay for school lunches, you simply choose and pay as you order. And for those receiving free meals (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) you will be able to choose their meals through the app – quickly and easily! You can chat with your child about the menu at home, and they’ll love knowing exactly what’s for lunch each day. After all, it’s one of the most important questions when you’re little!

Children in early years, year 1 and year 2 are entitled to a FREE school meal every day. For older children, meals cost £2.65 per day although they may be entitled to a free school meal; please contact the office for more information on checking this.

Free School Meals
[smart-box title=”Important Update about Free School Meals – Summer 2026″ box_color=”#267030″]Free School Meal (FSM) eligibility has changed. Due to these changes all parents and carers must reapply for FSMs over the 2026 summer term.
If your child currently gets Free School Meals, please do reapply to ensure that they continue to do so. If parents/carers do not reapply, the children will not receive FSMs from September 2026 (unless they are in reception year 1 or year 2 and receive Universal infant free school meals).
Many families who have not previously been eligible may now qualify for Free School Meals and additional support. Even if your child is currently in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 and receives Universal Infant Free School Meals, we strongly encourage you to check if they are eligible for FSM.
Eligibility can unlock additional funding and opportunities for both your child and the school. This may include support towards school trips, extra-curricular activities and holiday activities. The process is quick, confidential and will help ensure that no family misses out on support to which they may be entitled. By asking every parent and carer to check if they are eligible and, if so, apply for FSM, we can ensure that all eligible children receive the funding and support available to them.[/smart-box]
Depending on your circumstances your child may be entitled to Free School Meals and other educational benefits. Even if you do not wish your child to have a free school meal on a regular basis, or if they are also entitled to a free KS1 meal, we still ask that you apply for free school meals. If eligible, your child’s school may also receive additional funding called the Pupil Premium. The Pupil Premium will benefit your child’s school as additional funding, and will also enable your child to take up a free school meal any day they choose.
